Volunteer to Change the World

August 31, 2014 • In search of self

Over the past year I have noticed an influx of American volunteers in my community. Recently, I began a new job and during the staff orientation I was introduced to two volunteers who had been assigned to the school that I am working at to assist with the Math program. Talking to these young college graduates has helped me to realize how passionate they are about what they do. Watching them work has given me even more respect for the importance of volunteerism, especially in communities that greatly need the help. So, I will be using this blog article to highlight some of the top international volunteer programs. Hopefully you will be compelled to offer some of your time to support their causes.
