1.1. Registration

You may register to the site to join the community. When you do so you may be asked for details such as your name, email address and password. Your password is private to you and at no time do we have access to it.

You may also use the site’s commenting feature which may require personal information or contact details.

1.2. Newsletter Subscription

We have a newsletter feature that will be available for readers to the site. It will offer a condensed overview of new articles on the site. Where special promotions are being run by third party advertisers we will also send these out to our readers. We also have a readers’ essays section on the site. You may submit your essays to use via our contact page. We ask that you submit only essays that you have authored, and that do not consist of plagiarised content.

You might wish to share a personal success story with the community.

1.8. Real Life Stories

You might wish to share a real life experience of yours with us. If you choose to have your identity protected then we will work closely with you to ensure that the story you narrate does not identify you. We do require your contact details for our own records in case we need to contact you for any further information or clarification. Your story will be assigned a reference number and that number is assigned to your details kept confidentially on our records. We will never make your personal details publicly available except in criminal proceedings should we be legally compelled to do so.

You might wish to contact our Agony Aunt, Doctor or Editor to ask a question, share an opinion, or seek advice.

1.10. Information you submit about other people

You might wish to nominate someone you know for a competition or a story feature. Depending on what you are nominating them for you may be asked to provide their name, telephone number, email address, or physical address.
